The Scammers
Through our investigation, Scammer Payback was able to identify several key players within Supportaholic. Scroll down to learn more about the people behind this decade-long scam operation.

Vinay Mongia
Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Supportaholic Technologies
Vinay Mongia is listed as a co-founder and co-owner of Supportaholic. Online, he presents himself as a businessman operating in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector. However, throughout this investigation, we found no verifiable evidence that Supportaholic conducts legitimate BPO work.
(It is not uncommon for operations of this kind to maintain the appearance of a lawful business while using the same staff and infrastructure to facilitate scam activity. This gives them a vehicle to launder the stolen money through and potentially insulates them from punishment.)
However, Vinay is careful. He doesn’t openly reference scam activity, nor does he appear to be directly involved in handling payments. Yet, all the official company documentation lists him as an owner of Supportaholic, he publicly ties himself to the company on his personal pages, and he appears in Supportaholic’s social media videos.
He created the company, and he knows exactly what’s going on inside of it. If anyone needs to face justice for this operation, it’s him.

Renu Mongia
Co-Founder and Co-Owner of Supportaholic Technologies
Renu Mongia is identified as a co-founder and co-owner of Supportaholic. Unlike his brother, Vinay, he maintains little to no public presence. His name appears on the company’s registration certificate, and there are occasional references to him within internal chat systems reviewed during this investigation.
Beyond these instances, publicly available information about Renu Mongia is limited. However, corporate records indicate that he holds an ownership role within Supportaholic. While his level of day-to-day involvement is less visible, that distinction does not diminish his formal association with the company.

Sonia Aggarwal
Financial Manager of Supportaholic Technologies
Sonia Aggarwal appears to play a central role in managing the financial infrastructure associated with Supportaholic. Evidence reviewed during this investigation indicates that she oversees payment accounts and is linked to a network of shell companies connected to the operation, including Cygnet Global Solutions and Helicon LLC. This makes her one of the most powerful people in the company, just behind Vinay and Renu.
(During our investigation, we weren’t able to find any Registration Certificates for these shell companies. So, while we know that Sonia controls them, we don’t know if she owns them or if they’re even registered in India/the US.)

Rishabh Sharma
Primary Floor Manager/Social Media Manager at Supportaholic Technologies
Rishabh Sharma appears to serve as the primary floor manager within the call center operation. Based on evidence reviewed during this investigation, he is responsible for initiating Vicidial campaigns (software commonly used to automate outbound calling) and supervising agents on the floor.
In addition to this role, Rishabh manages Supportaholic’s social media presence. Content published across these platforms provided extensive visibility into the organization, including images and videos of staff and the workspace, which assisted in identifying individuals connected to the operation.
We also obtained access to a backup of a device attributed to Rishabh. The data included photographs of Supportaholic’s headquarters, offering further insight into the physical setup of the operation.

Monika Chaudhary &
Narjul Islam
Top Scammers at Supportaholic Technologies
Monika Chaudhary and Narjul Islam (third from the left, wearing a black t-shirt) were identified as two of the most active operators within the Supportaholic call center. Across the systems reviewed during this investigation, they were the only individuals with microphones connected to their PCs, indicating a primary role in contacting victims and accessing their systems.
Monika also operated under the name “Ruby.” She was our first point of contact when we initially hacked this call center. Activity logs show that she was among the most consistently active scammers, including periods of high-volume outbound calling to numbers listed in internal “dead lists” (victims that had previously declined Supportaholic calls).
Narjul was similarly active in direct calls with potential victims. Audio recordings of Narjul reviewed during this investigation suggest he has a pattern of seeking out lower-income victims. In one instance, a victim stated they could not afford the “services” because they had to buy groceries. His response? “Ma’am, I can’t give you a discount.”

Mayank Sharma
IT Administrator at Supportaholic Technologies
Mayank Sharma appears to serve as the primary IT administrator for Supportaholic. His system contained the infrastructure for all the fake websites, the internal chat client, and business-related email accounts. Evidence reviewed during this investigation indicates that the fraudulent websites identified were created or maintained through his system.
While there is no indication that Mayank engages directly with victims, his role is central to enabling the operation.

Vikrant Swami
Junior Floor Manager at Supportaholic Technologies
Vikrant Swami appears to hold a supervisory role within the Supportaholic call center, operating in a capacity similar to a floor manager, though at a more junior level than Rishabh.
Available information on Vikrant is limited. His name appears on the Supportaholic website and in internal chat communications reviewed during this investigation. Beyond these references, there is little publicly available or independently verifiable information regarding his role or responsibilities.

Aditi Sharma
Manager at Supportaholic Technologies
Aditi Sharma is another manager. Interestingly, she doesn’t appear in any of the internal chat logs for Supportaholic. However, she frequently appears in social media posts from Supportaholic. Other than that, we have very little information.

Yogi Nimbreaker
VP of Sales at Supportaholic Technologies
Yogi Nimbreaker is listed as the Vice President of Sales on the Supportaholic website. There is no evidence, based on the materials reviewed in this investigation, that he is directly involved in the day-to-day operations of the call center. However, his title and positioning within Supportaholic suggest a potential role in lead generation. This may include sourcing or managing contact lists used for outbound calling to victims.

Manish
Opener at Supportaholic Technologies
Manish is an opener, meaning that he handles the very beginning of the scam process before handing off victims to a a more senior scammer (Monika, Narjul, etc.) He appears in the chat logs, and he can be seen in a few of the social media posts.

Komal Puri
Closer at Supportaholic Technologies
Komal Puri is a closer. After Windows Defender is disabled and Remote Utilities is installed, she's the one who would call the victim back and try to close the scam. She refers to herself as a "technician," despite not actually being able to do the technical parts of the scam (connecting to the victim's system).

Like Monika, Komal also handles calling victims from the "dead list."
