Well, it looks like Supportaholic is trying to stage a comeback. But, don't worry. We won't let that happen.

We noticed today that their website is back up, and they've made one big change. Before you can even access the site, you get a pop up that reads:

IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE

The official website of Supportholic has been subjected to unauthorized

access and is currently under maintenance.

Users are cautioned that any information appearing on or circulating in relation

to the website or company during this period may be inaccurate or

unauthorized.

It is further clarified that false and misleading information concerning

Supportholic is being circulated by third parties. Supportholic disclaims any

association with such content and any liability arising therefrom.

Users are advised to verify all information through official communication

channels.

This is the pop-up that appears on the Supportaholic website.

Seems like Mr. Mongia and the Supportaholic team aren't too happy with us. I guess if I worked for nearly a decade to build out my scam operation and some hackers took the whole thing down in a day, I'd be pretty upset too.

Anyway, I want to go through this "notice" and separate out the fact from the fiction. Spoiler alert: It's all fiction.

Let's start with the fact that whoever wrote this (or whatever AI they used to write it) didn't even spell "Supportaholic" right. Has a legitimate company ever released a message where they mispelled their own name? You'd think that after being exposed, they'd be a little more careful. But, they're probably too busy panicking.

This simply isn't true. We never accessed the backend of the Supportaholic website or altered any of the information on there. Everything that we showed you in our investigation was created by the team at Supportaholic.

"It is further clarified that false and misleading information concerning

Hey, it's us! The "third parties." Everything that we released in our video is backed up by months of investigation and physical evidence. We have audio recordings of their scam calls, countless fraudulent invoices, and even photos of the checks that Supportaholic took from their victims. You can see some of that evidence here and learn about their scam process here.

"Users are advised to verify all information through official communication

Not sure what official channels they want us to go through, but we emailed Vinay Mongia to try and get some clarification.

The email sent by the Scammer Payback team to Vinay Mongia's personal email.

Fingers crossed he responds! Would love to verify that he's a scammer through the official communication channels. If we do hear back, you all will be the first to know. So, keep checking back here for more updates!
